Tommy’s journey began in his family's alcohol distribution business, where he witnessed the explosive growth of China’s alcohol industry. Driven by a thirst for knowledge, he began to explore world's finest bars and vineyards, ultimately leading him to co-found and partnering with some of the region's top restaurant and bars, including Hope & Sesame (2026 Asia’s 50 Best Bars #1, Best Bar in China (4th years in a row), CMYK (Changsha, 2024 Asia’s 50 Best Bars #16, Tatler Best of Asia 2024), and DSK Cocktail Club (Guangzhou). His influence extends beyond his establishments, as he actively mentors and empowers emerging F&B professionals. This leadership has been recognized by Tatler Asia, who named him 2024 Gen.T Leader of Tomorrow. In 2024, Tommy was crowned the Greater China area champion of The Torres Brandy Zero Challenge, a competition for the best sustainable projects in the hospitality industry.
